1st Home show of 2014
Featuring up to 25 of our Attleborough ABC Boxers against opposition from across the Uk. The evening starts at 7.00 pm at the Connaught Hall in Attleborough. Tickets are £12.00 and can be purchased in advance on 01953 457 329 or on the door. Tickets usually sell out so advisable to purchase in advance.
We have asked all sponsors and supporters to attend where they can watch the squad members train and also look at the recent alterations we have made to the gym. Light refreshments will be provided. Any potential sponsors can attend and are asked to contact the gym for an invitation.

Two junior female boxers from Attleborough Amateur Boxing Club started the 2014 season in style by each gaining a gold medal in The Golden Girl Championship in Boras, Sweden.Read more ...
The club is pleased to announce that many club members have been selected to box for "Team Attleborough" for the forthcoming season, which includes several new members making the "Squad" for the first time. They will actively reresent the club at Tournaments and Shows, entering Skills, Competition and Championship Bouts throughout the Eastern Region plus various other parts of the UK. Once again the club is seeking support from local businesses and organisations to "Sponsor a Boxer" for the new season. The sponsorship package for you includes:

Danny was a very keen footballer and cricketer before a motorbike accident left him paralysed from the chest down. Undeterred by his new life in a wheelchair, Danny began his athletics career in wheelchair racing, completing the Great North Run 3 times, and then moving into field events, specialising in the shot put.
3 times the British Wheelchair Athletics Association’s ‘Athlete of the Year’, Danny was selected for Team GB in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing and in the World Championships in New Zealand in 2011. Only a change in regulation by the world governing body took away the chance to compete in the London 2012 Paralympics, but their subsequent removal of Danny’s shot put event from the Rio 2016 Games has led to a new opportunity in the javelin.
