Despite battling against adverse weather conditions and having a number of key Home Boxers injured Attleborough Amateur Boxing Club enjoyed another fantastic evening of sport @ their Home show on 23^rd March. As a 1^st for the club the whole show was  broadcast live on web via Suffolk and Norfolk Youth Action ( SNYA) and the camaraderie of the Boxing community was there for all to see with a party from Ireland competing at the event, Trojan ABC from County Kerry, in what is planned as a regular exchange between the 2 Clubs.

The card had 16 bouts well matched bouts which was a credit to the travelling clubs who battled against heavy falling  snow.All Home Boxers Boxers gave a fantastic account of themselves with the performance of the night coming from Milo Clay who recorded a 2^nd round stoppage in what was his 1^st competitive appearance in the ring in front of his travelling army of supporters from Thetford.

The Mayor of Attleborough, Sam Taylor, together with District Councillor Adrian Stasiak presented the trophies at the end  of the show to the Boxers of the Night.

20 Bouts are being planned with up to 18 Attleborough Boxers scheduled to be on another full card and competing against boxers  coming from such clubs as Swales Gloves & Isle Of Thanet in Kent, Chadwell St Mary, Norwich Lads, Gold Star, Kings Lynn, Macclesfield and Hartlepool Clubs. A touring party from Eire, Trojan ABC, is also coming over as part of a twinning association between the 2 clubs.

Regular Attleborough Boxers such as Keiran Lancaster, Ethan Thurling, Jack Crosthwaite, Douglas Stratton,, Joe Kerrison, Jack Mander, James Softley, Jack Vincent, Taylor Dean  & Marc Riley are all scheduled to Box and should all be once again appearing on the evening.

Attleborough’s Schoolboy ABAE ¼ Finalists Kieron Campbell and  Matt Croxall are also matched to appear.

Both, Attleborough’s National Schoolgirl Finalist, Emma Dolan and winner of a recent Gold Medal in Sweden, Lily Devlin will be competing and it will be good to see the progress they have made.

Making their first appearance in Team Attleborough colours are Cevsvais Sirmanas, Milo Clay, Dane Prince and Jack Dolan.

It is expected that the Connaught Hall in Attleborough will be packed again for the show with a partisan crowd. The doors are open at 7.00 pm and Boxing starting at 8.00 pm .
